Information About the Company

Dobinsons Spring & Suspension is a locally owned business, established in 1953 by Reg Dobinson.  The business is now owned and operated by his sons, Glen & Keith Dobinson.

Dobinsons is Queensland's largest leaf spring manufacturer.   The company has grown over the years in staff and the areas of service.  Today all products are distributed throughout Australia and exported to over 23 countries.

The success of the business has come about by providing quality products, acquiring and using technical knowledge and having the equipment to perform and provide professional service.  Our quality of design and manufacture is what sets us apart from our competitors, if not the price.  The company manufactures and repairs a large range of springs and sells a comprehensive range of suspension components.  We have over 13,000 spring specifications on hand and computerized spring design programs.

This new area of manufacturing has enabled Dobinsons to expand even further.

The factory now covers 4000 mē which consists of:

• 10 fully equipped service bays
• Leaf spring production line
• Coil spring production line
• Storage area holding over AU$750,000 of springs
• Component parts display
• Customer service area
